How to find the Metal Golem in Dragon's Dogma.
If you're reading this; chances are you're asking where to find this elusive monster. Defeating two of these powered up Golem's is necessary to complete a quest. There is a problem however.
Fighting the Metal Golem on the surface world requires that you complete 'Witch hunt' this quest is easily missed; as quests are removed as you progress through the main storyline quests. The window of opportunity is very small. (Prior to fighting the Hydra at the encampment)
You've likely never received this quest.
There is one other place in which you can fight the Metal Golem.
Warning: Read on if you have defeated the Dragon by your own means.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a series of cut scenes; you will be granted access into the Everfall.
There are a series of ledges that appear once falling, and you can push the right trigger to grab onto one.
Each ledge leads to a door; These doors feature a name. Example: Chamber of Sorrow.
The chamber that you need to find is the Chamber of Estrangement. This chamber may contain a Metal Golem, but it may contain a regular Golem. If you didn't find the Metal version, you can leave the everfall, sleep a few days, and return to chamber to try once more.
This is the only way to fight a Metal Golem if you didn't have the chance to sign up for the 'Witch Hunt' quest at the Quest Board.
Thanks, much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteIndeed I missed the 'Witch Hunt' Quest so I'll be looking for them in the Chamber of Estrangement.
It's still a challenge to land on that specific edge.
